Stunell promotes British Tourism Week

Today, Hazel Grove MP pledged his support for the first ever British Tourism Week which is taking place this week, 12-18th March.

Speaking at the launch, Mr Stunell said:

"I am proud of Britain's vibrant tourism industry and am delighted to support British Tourism week. Thousands of visitors flock to Manchester, the Peak District and our local waterways in Stockport every year.

"Tourism is worth £85 billion to our economy. It is vital to the well being of thousands of individuals who work in the sector, as well as to all the people who enjoy holidays in our beautiful national parks and cities." ENDS
